Alexander Campbell

This project was one I was incredibly grateful to have such a pivotal role in and contribute to. I was hand-selected by one of my lecturers to help produce a documentary about volunteers and their first experience seeing the realities of the migrant crisis in Calais. It was also my first experience both visiting France and seeing what life was like for migrants. It was sobering and insightful to see the optimism of these people and their passion and humanity. Being able to take this footage and bring it together in the edit was a genuine privilege and has encouraged me to explore social justice in my career moving forward.
