Guilty Conscience

PROJECT ROLE: Assistant Camera / Editor / Body Double

The second film we recorded for our portfolio project was 'Guilty Conscience', which had a focus on embracing the avant-garde. We aimed to make a horror film that displayed the instance after a murder rather than the hunt and chase that lead to it. It was a particular challenge to bring this film together, but as a group, we were able to integrate various aspects of art cinema and atypical filmmaking together to create a successful and unnerving film. From a personal perspective, I relished the opportunity to experiment with the picture edit to create something memorable and effective in creating a tense horror.
