Life's a Drag
PROJECT ROLE: Sound Recordist / Sound Editor
The first assignment for Level 5 of my BA Film and Television Production course was to make a micro-documentary about a subject of our choice. We were fortunate enough to get to work with drag queen Virgo, and talk about both sides of her life, drag, performing and mental health. Not only was she so much fun to be with on set, but she was a fantastic person to listen to and explore as the shoot went on. As sound recordist it was my job to listen to Virgo as it was, but I was struck by what she had to say and the end product is something we are all proud of.
